A special International Festival for Business 2016 (IFB2016)-inspired meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Trade & Investment (APPGTI) took place in Westminster on 13 April, raising awareness of the role this year’s Festival will play in promoting British industry overseas.
The 2016 British American Trade & Investment Guide was published today by BritishAmerican Business in London together with UKTI and the US Commercial Service and many other partners. This guide is a comprehensive resource for those looking to invest in the UK and includes word of welcome from government officials, practical advice on the economy, banking, local labor law, and specific sectors as well as information on specific cities and regions and cities in the UK and information on local contacts for the British-American Business Council. "This yearly guide is a comprehensive resource for FDI into the UK and a robust offering of our network to the greater business community," said Andrew Boyd, Senior Manager for Member Relations and Research at BritishAmerican Business. "Not only does it provide data, statistics, and local contacts, but it lays out clear advice and case studies for firms across different sectors growing in the UK."
